I was recently invited by Planetstreetpainting to be a part of the 3rd edition of the Streetpainting Program during Almere Street Festival 2014 (The Nederlands). I was there in 2011 and 2012 too and this year the event was surely lucky on weather! we had 2 sunny days. We were about 14 street artists and many of them friends since other street paintings experiences.
The theme was “Brazil, Rio”. I decided to work on a 3D piece and I created a final draw of 3,2 x 3,8 meters. I drew a street young boy coming out from an old manhole and a small toucan out of the hole. The piece is dedicated to all the children at risk and in particular to the Brazilian ones who have to fight with poverty and violence. Many of theme were killed.
